Join the EMSB Chorale and Share Your Love of Music
Do you love to sing? Students in Grades 4 through Secondary V are invited to audition for the English Montreal School Board (EMSB) Chorale, now celebrating its 47th season of musical excellence.
Under the artistic direction of Marie-Ève Arseneau, with assistant conductor Madeleine Landry and accompanist Anne-Marie Denoncourt, the award-winning choir offers young singers exceptional musical training and exciting performance opportunities. Chorale members develop their vocal skills while enhancing confidence, discipline, memory, language abilities, and teamwork through music.
Open to all voice types, including soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, and bass, the EMSB Chorale performs a diverse repertoire of classical, contemporary, and multicultural choral music. Members also enjoy working with professional musicians, performing in Montreal's leading concert venues, participating in music camps and tours, and building lasting friendships with fellow music enthusiasts.
Auditions will be held on September 12, 19, and 26, with early registration encouraged. Rehearsals take place at the Royal Vale School Auditorium, 5851 Somerled Avenue.
